Dr. David J. McClintock - DC
Dr. McClintock began his career by serving in the Air Force from 1999 to 2004. After completing his enlistment, Dr. McClintock graduated in 2006 from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania, where he received a B.S. in Economics. While working in the corporate world and maintaining an active lifestyle, he experienced a significant lower back injury from a skiing accident and received care from a Chiropractic Physician. Based on his positive experience he decided to make a career change and studied at Life University in Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree (D.C.), graduating in 2013. Immediately after graduating, he moved to fast-paced Singapore and began working for a large, multidisciplinary Chiropractic company. Thriving in this environment, Dr. McClintock was promoted to lead Chiropractor and was responsible for running the flagship office and training their team of Chiropractors.
After gaining this valuable experience, he decided to shift gears and move to Thailand where he teamed up with one of Asia's Biggest Loser fitness and weight loss coaches. This collaboration provided Dr. McClintock with the ability to work with semi-pro and professional athletes, in disciplines from triathlon to Muay Thai and bodybuilding, and incorporating more comprehensive care by utilizing manual therapies, Rock Taping and functional exercises. As a result of Dr. McClintock's personal and professional experience, he is very passionate about offering comprehensive evaluation and evidence-based treatments to individuals of all ages, and this is what drew him to Falling Waters. Most recently, Dr. McClintock has received specialized training in the evaluation and management of concussion, vestibular rehab, and in breath work.
Dr. McClintock has had a lifelong passion and thirst for adventure and travel; which has led him to mountain biking across Costa Rica, cycling through the mountain ranges in Italy, summiting a 19,347 foot active volcano in the Andes, an overland safari in South Africa, multi-day trekking in Italy, Norway, Germany, Austria and Belize, skiing in Switzerland, Italy, Austria and Germany, sunning on the pristine beaches of the Maldives, Thailand and the Philippines, and the list goes on. In his case, the question switched from where have you been, to what's the next adventure! Dr. McClintock loves living an active, healthy lifestyle and never shies away from the outdoor richness, beauty and activities that Central Oregon has to offer.
