What is Radial Pressure Wave Therapy?
Radial Pressure Waves (RPW) are acoustic waves that generate oscillations in the tissue. Radial pressure wave therapy helps reduce muscle pain and activate connective tissue, temporarily aid in the increase of blood flow, and help in the treatment of certain injuries that are causing pain.

What does RPW Feel Like?
When the treatment head passes over the problem area, patients may feel soreness and a "thumping" sensation. There is very little discomfort when the treatment head passes over healthy areas. There are different level of discomfort and this can all depend on the area being treated, the device settings and the severity of the problem area.
How Long are the Treatments?
Treatments are usually 10 minutes but can vary depending on the issue.
How Many Treatments Will I Need?
